As temperatures gradually rise, Donghu Ecological Tourism Scenic Area has transformed into a vibrant sea of blooming tulips, drawing crowds of locals and tourists alike to admire the spectacular display.

        Stepping into the tulip garden feels like entering a spilled painter's palette. Dazzling reds, delicate pinks, and radiant yellows—multicolored tulips compete in brilliance, clustering closely together to carpet the earth in floral splendor.

        For children, the garden is nothing short of a wonderland. Several schools in our city have organized spring outings here. Upon entering, students are immediately captivated by the breathtaking scenery, eagerly immersing themselves in this ocean of flowers.

        "They look like a living oil painting!"
        "The colors! And you can smell the fragrance before even getting close!"

        Children weave along garden paths, enthusiastically describing the floral spectacle. Some crouch to examine tulip stamens and leaves, discovering nature's wonders; others chase each other through the blooms, their laughter filling the air; while some gather around teachers, eyes sparkling with curiosity as they hear tulip stories.

        The garden has also become a prime photo destination. Many visitors dress in their finest outfits for picture-perfect moments among the flowers. Photography enthusiasts arrive early to set up equipment, seeking ideal angles to capture the tulips' most enchanting displays.

        "These flowers are magnificent," says visitor Wang Qiulin. "Jiayuguan keeps getting better—its ecology, scenic areas, park landscapes...more beautiful each year. We came specifically for these gorgeous blooms, and it's absolutely wonderful."

        To enhance the floral experience, Donghu Ecological Tourism Scenic Area introduced rare tulip varieties in November 2024. Through careful landscape planning and micro-terrain designs, the garden underwent significant upgrades. Multiple themed walkways and creative installations now allow visitors to appreciate the tulips from every perspective.

        After five months of anticipation since winter planting, ten premium tulip varieties across six color families reached peak bloom during the May holiday. Their interwoven hues create a living color palette across the land, adding an exotic touch to this "Gobi Pearl."
