During the May Day holiday, the upgraded night tour program at Jiayuguan Fortress Scenic Area became a must-visit attraction again. The immersive experience transported visitors through time with a breathtaking audio-visual extravaganza.

        At precisely 7:50 PM, the grand opening ceremony commenced, marking the start of the night tour. Visitors were first greeted by spectacular performances including imperial court dances and Silk Road-inspired parades, with rounds of applause and cheers erupting from the crowd.

        As night fell, a mesmerizing light show transformed the ancient fortress into a colossal projection screen. The dazzling 3D display vividly recreated scenes from the Hexi Corridor's past - from Zhang Qian's determined diplomatic missions to the Western Regions, to Huo Qubing's heroic border campaigns, and the backbreaking labor of Great Wall construction. Every wall became a canvas narrating epic historical tales.

        "This experience was absolutely phenomenal," said Liang Zi, a tourist from Xinjiang, captivated by the lifelike projections on the fortress walls. "The perfect integration of lighting effects and physical structures, combined with the actors' superb performances, made me feel like I'd traveled back in time. It gave me a much deeper understanding of Jiayuguan's cultural heritage." Like many visitors, she couldn't resist capturing the magical moments on her phone.
