Recently, the 8011 candy foil base material developed by Jiugang Group's Dongxing Jiayu New Materials Company has gained recognition from a leading domestic aluminum foil manufacturer. This milestone signifies that Jiugang Group can now produce high-quality 8011 candy aluminum foil base material using a short-process casting-rolling technique, marking its expansion into the high-end food foil market.

        It is understood that aluminum foil is primarily used in food packaging in two forms: aluminum-plastic or aluminum-paper composite packaging, and multi-layer aluminum-plastic-paper composite packaging (such as Tetra Pak). Due to the unique characteristics of candy, packaging materials must meet stringent requirements, including moisture resistance (to prevent melting), aroma retention, oil barrier properties (to prevent rancidity), contamination protection, and heat resistance. Aluminum foil packaging for candy offers multiple advantages: lightweight, excellent ductility, strong light-blocking properties, superior protection, and stability under both high and low temperatures—effectively preserving candy quality and flavor. Additionally, its moisture-proof, airtight, and aroma-preserving features help extend shelf life, ensuring consumers enjoy fresher, tastier candy.

        To produce thinner, low-pinhole candy packaging foil with enhanced mechanical properties and surface quality, Jiugang's technical team conducted extensive experimentation and refinements in alloy composition design, casting-rolling process control, and cold-rolling heat treatment. They implemented strict metallurgical quality controls, establishing new standards for raw aluminum purity, melt refinement, online degassing/dross removal, and casting parameters. Every production stage was meticulously monitored to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.

        To date, two batches totaling 430 tons of 8011 candy foil base material have been delivered to clients, receiving positive feedback.
