        Near the Great Wall pier, Zhang Bin and his colleagues are inspecting. They use an anemometer to measure the wind speed at the bottom of the Great Wall and a drone to collect images of the surrounding environment.

        Inspections like this are conducted once a month, just like giving the Great Wall a medical checkup, not daring to slack off in the slightest.

        Nowadays, with the support of scientific and technological means, the slightest change of the Great Wall will be recorded by daily monitoring, forming a large database, which will provide the basis for subsequent repairs.
