Jiayuguan Wei Jin Brick Mural Painting is painted with natural mineral pigments, using the painting method of hook and fill, with ink lines outlining the outlines, and then ochre and red filling in the colors. Line and color, as the artistic language of China's traditional painting, have a high degree of generality and expressiveness, and are able to portray distinctive characters and complicated life scenes with concise ink and brushwork.

        Since brick murals are immovable cultural heritage, so far many people have not been able to personally appreciate the heirloom beauty of the Wei and Jin brick murals. In order to enable more people to understand the Wei and Jin brick murals in Jiayuguan Pass, by taking photos of the brick murals and archiving them, we have selected more than 150 murals with high artistic value, clear patterns and vivid images from thousands of murals, and painted them into brick murals of different sizes and in various forms, so that outside of the field Demonstrate the real face of brick mural painting, so that more viewers can enjoy this ancient painting technique up close and feel the charm of China's excellent traditional culture from an artistic point of view.
