Recently, China Nonferrous Metals Industry Science and Technology Reward Office issued a notice that the project "ISO7524:2020, ISO7526:2020, ISO23156:2021 International Standard for Ferro-Nickel Analysis Methods" completed by JISCO Inspection and Testing Center as the main participant was awarded the Second Prize of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Science and Technology Award for the year 2023.

        The project was developed by 6 units including Nonferrous Metals Technology and Economic Research Institute, JISCO, Shanxi TISCO Stainless Steel Company, which is of great significance to improve the quality control level of ferronickel production, shorten the inspection time for trade settlement, and reduce the link of mutual recognition of inspection data.The international standard for the analysis method of ISO23156:2021 ferronickel was developed by JISCO Inspection and Testing Center, and it is the first international standard that China has led the development of in this field. It is the first international standard in this field developed by China.
