In 2021, the city will have 312 days of good air quality, with respirable particulate matter (PM10) and fine particulate matter (PM2.5) dropping by 44.9% and 36.7% respectively compared to the end of the 12th Five-Year Plan, reaching the best level in recent years. The water quality of urban centralized drinking water sources, surface water and groundwater met 100% of the standards, and the national surface water assessment section of the Beida River (dry canal) ranked second in the country. Hazardous waste standardization assessment ranked the top in the province. Regional environmental noise monitoring met 100% of the standards. Successfully completed soil remediation pilot project, providing viable experience for national soil pollution management. First in the province to issue the "three lines and one list" ecological environment zoning control implementation plan and ecological environment access list, praised by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment. The four types of pollution sources, namely industry, coal, motor vehicles and dust, were dealt with effectively, and the battle against atmospheric, water and soil pollution achieved significant results.
