The project site is located next to Jiayuguan Airport, 9 kilometers northeast of Jiayuguan City in Gansu Province. The project features an aviation industrial base which is jointly created and established by Jiayuguan Municipal Government and Shanghai Feng Ye Industrial Co., Ltd. And combines the three-dimensional public security law enforcement, emergency medical and rescue system and aviation tourism together. The project covers an area of 9,270 mu and consists of a public aviation service base, a general aviation commercial base and an international aviation cultural tourism base. The public aviation service base mainly involves the construction of a flight training area, a combat training area, a theoretical training center and an administrative service center; the general aviation commercial base mainly involves the construction of a flight service area, an aircraft trading center, a aircraft validation center and a base management center; the international aviation cultural tourism base shall involve the construction of an integrated industrial base featuring the combination of aviation exhibition, aviation science and technology, aviation culture, aviation experience, entertainment and creativity with the purchase of helicopters for sightseeing. The total investment for this project will reach CNY 4.21 billion. After the completion of the project, this project shall greatly enhance the overall competence and capacity of our city in the aspects of counter-terrorism and the handling of the unexpected events, crime prevention and control, public security work, fire rescue, public aviation rescue, emergency medical rescue and assistance and remote medical rescue and care including the transport of critically ill patients. The project shall also help enhance the development level and popularity of the aviation industry in Jiayuguan City and is conducive to enhancing the regional competitiveness and improving the investment environment, being of great significance to promoting the overall development of the local economy. It is estimated that the annual operating income will reach CNY 3.2 billion.
