Located in the south of Jiayuguan Guan City 7 kilometers, and Qilian snow peak across the river, it is the first pier starting point on the western end of the the Great Wall in the Ming Dynasty. The first pier by the Ming Dynasty Gansu Town Suzhou bingbeidao Li Hanzhu in Jiajing 18 years (1539). The original length, width and height are 14 meters, a square pyramid, the later part of wall collapsed, only existing in the abutment along the wall, the dangerous. In order to protect this precious historical site, in recent years, the Jiayuguan municipal government invested funds, and built the first the Great Wall with 30 meters above the north side, and set up guardrail to protect the first pier.
