To further advance the normalized campaign against organized crime and gang violence, comprehensively enhance residents' awareness and ability to identify such forces, and effectively strengthen the public's rule of law consciousness, Fumin Community recently launched a publicity campaign within its jurisdiction to extensively disseminate knowledge related to the fight against organized crime and gang violence.
The campaign adopted a "online-offline" combined approach to conduct publicity activities comprehensively and from multiple angles. "Offline," by setting up publicity and consultation booths in crowded community squares, hanging banners, and distributing brochures, staff widely promoted relevant laws and regulations to passing residents. Considering the high proportion of elderly residents, on-site staff patiently translated professional terminology into plain language to explain the specific manifestations of organized crime, the twelve key targets for crackdown, and reporting channels, encouraging everyone to actively provide leads. "Online," full use was made of residents' WeChat groups, QQ groups, and LED displays to regularly push relevant policies and typical cases, continuously expanding the reach of the publicity and residents' awareness.
