Jiayuguan, as an important hub on the ancient Silk Road, has a long history. It is rather hard for Jiayuguan to build a garden city on the Gobi desert. From the concept of establishing an eco-city, to the consideration of the river production as an  important measure for the construction of ecological civilization. In order to create a beautiful and livable home in the Gobi desert, the Jiayuguan citizens devoted their efforts to portraying a splendid painting of revitalizing water and planting plants on the Gobi desert.
