The New Year is approaching, and the festive atmosphere is getting stronger. On January 25th, the Municipal Women's Federation a lantern-making parent-child activity titled "Skillful Hands Welcome the New Year, Parents and Children Build Dreams Together". This activity uses traditional folk customs as carrier to let parents and children experience the charm of the New Year's customs while making lanterns together, capturing warm parent-child moments and adding a unique sense of ceremony the upcoming festive season.

At the event, professional teachers gave a detailed explanation of the steps and skills involved in making lanterns, guiding everyone hand in hand to create own works. With the company and assistance of their parents, the children turned into "little craftsmen". Some made round tubes with red paper with their parents, some carefully cut patterns with scissors, and others held glue and, under the guidance of their parents, gently pasted decorations on the lanterns. After a period of careful creation, a series bright red and joyous lanterns were completed. The children held their own creations over their heads to show them to their friends, with a proud smile on their faces. The lanterns reflected a series of smiling faces, and the scene was full of laughter, creating a strong festive atmosphere.
