On May 25, Jiayuguan's inaugural stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) invitational competition, themed "Dragon Boat Passion · Paddle Challenge", took place at East Lake Eco-Tourism Zone. Organized by the Damalin Swimming Club under the guidance of the Municipal Sports Association, the event attracted over 70 SUP enthusiasts from across the province and beyond.
Participants competed fiercely in multiple disciplines including:
Team dragon board races (4-person teams)
200-meter sprint
400-meter buoy course
The tournament culminated with champions being crowned in each category, showcasing both competitive spirit and the scenic beauty of East Lake.
