It was built in October 2001 in the square in front of Jiayuguan Railway Station. The overall height of the sculpture is 12 meters, consisting of three parts: bronze sculpture, pedestal and foundation. The prototype of the sub-sculpture was unearthed in the portrait bricks of the Wei and Jin tombs in Jiayuguan, which is now the symbol of China Post.
